Definition

MG EVI

This is a Reeher Predictive Model.  The percentile rank order of the predicted value of a persons major gift relative to all relationships within the modeling population.  Usually this is all alumni and friends.

MG Expected Value

This is a Reeher Predictive Model.  This is the probability adjusted dollar value estimated for a major gift from each individual.  Its purpose is to allow us to rank order the relationships. The modeling population is usually all alumni and friends.

AF EVI

This is a Reeher Predictive Model.  The percentile rank order of the predicted value of a persons Annual Fund gift relative to all relationships within The modeling population is usually all alumni and friends.

AF Expected Value

This is a Reeher Predictive Model.  This is the probability adjusted dollar value estimated for an Annual Fund from each individual.  Its purpose is to allow us to rank order the relationships, and to allow for budgeting for spending on direct mail and other marketing efforts. The modeling population is usually all alumni and friends.

PDI

This is a Reeher Predictive Model.  It is the estimate of the likliehood that this person will make an Annual Fund gift within the current fiscal year.  The modeling population is usually all alumni and friends.

MPI

This is a Reeher Predictive Model.  It is the estimate of the likliehood that this person will be a member of the alumni association within the current fiscal year.  The modeling population is usually all alumni and friends.

Audience (annual fund)

A mutually exclusive group of people who are in a segment for the purposes of an annual fund.

Audience (project)

A group of people who are in a segment for marketing purposes.  These groups overlap and are not mutaully exclusive.

Peer Group

A set of gift officers that have similar qualities for the purposes of comparrison as defined by the university.

Networth

A marketing estimate of wealth as provided by Acxiom.

Affinity Clusters

A university-specific audience segmentation system that breaks alumni into clusters based on primary research and consumer marketing data.  This is built by Reeher.

Key Message

These are university wide messages that that the university would like their audiences to hear.  The purpose of these messages is to establish or reinforce positioning of the institution.

Appeal Type (Appeal Reporting)

The communication format (direct mail, email, phone, web,) that is used for the appeal.  This is not connected to the type in "project".

Budget (Appeal Reporting)

This is the cost of the tactic.  This is not connected to cost in "project".

Records Solicited (Appeal Reporting)

The list of people who received the piece.  This is not connected to the "list" function in "project".

Fiscal Year Initiated (Appeal Reporting)

The first year that the appeal code was used.

Project Team (project)

The people who have access to a project in the Platform.

Activitiy (time tracking)

This is a category of work that a user uses to classify what they are doing on a particular project. These catagorys can be customized by user.

Attachment (project)

The team member can attach documents to the project. This might include samples, photos, lists etc.

Attachment (contact)

The team member can attach documents to the Relationship Profile.

QIC or Filter

Users can select people from Targeter using these querry statements.

R -Column

Users can add data related to relationships in the table in Cross Tab.

Budget (project)

Estimated cost for a marketing project.

R -Target Audience (project)

These are university defined segments for marketing purposes.

R -Hours (time tracking)

How many hours a user expended on an activity.

Appeal Code (project)

The key code that university enters upon reciept of the gift to indicate the source promotion related to the gift.

Project Start Date (project)

The date when the overall project will start.

Project Name (project)

The name of the project. 

Master Project (project)

This is a grouping of related projects with an overall objective.  There can only be one Annual Fund within a given year currently.

Event Start Date (project)

What is/ are the key dates for the project to start?  For direct mail, this will be the drop date. For events, it will be the event date.

Event End Date (project)

What is/are the key date for the project to end?  For direct mail, this will be the drop date. For events, it will be the event date.

Project End Date (project)

When will the overall project end?

Category (project)

Institution can describe their own catagories for projects that can classify the project on some other demension.

Description (project)

Field where user can enter reference information about the project.

Client (project)

Who is the project being done for?  As an example, this could be a school client or some other internal client.

Job Code (project)

Field where user can enter an internal reference number to tie it to some other internal system.  Usually for billing.

Appeal Type (project)

Indicates if the purpose of the project is to get a donation.  There is currently no other type of appeal available.

Status (project)

Indicates if the project is currently active.

Actions (project)

A comment or message that a team member makes under the Action Tab of the Project Form.  Adding a comment will result in an email to the team to notify them of the comment.
