The Appeal Type mapping allows you to change the way your institution's appeal types are categorized for reporting purposes in the platform. You can map each appeal type to one of the following options:
- Direct Mail
- Officer
- Other
- Phone
- Web
The Edit Appeal Type Mapping table shows all of the codes you have defined, even if there are 0 records using the code. The table also shows all codes found in your appeal type field, even if a code definition was not provided.
Any changes you make to the appeal type mapping will be reflected immediately in the platform.
The Appeal Tab also allows you to edit appeal types for individual appeals.
Please note that if you provided only descriptions in your data feed, we may have created codes for this field. In this case, the Your Code field would show the codes we created. Please also note we may have built custom logic for your codes if this was requested or necessary for implementing your data feed.
