This Donor Type Comparison viewport compares year-over-year annual fund dollar and donor performance based on defined donor types. Those donor types are Acquired, Retained, and Renewed.

Key Definitions:

  • Donors: Number of records that have been credited with an annual fund cash gift in the selected time period
  • Dollars: Sum of the legal annual fund cash giving in the selected time period.
  • Acquired: Includes records that are credited with an annual fund cash gift in the specified time period that had not previously been credited with an annual fund cash gift.
  • Retained: Includes records that are credited with an annual fund cash gift in the specified time period and were also annual fund donors in the previous fiscal year.
  • Renewed: Includes records that were credited with an annual fund cash gift in the specified time period and have previously donated, but did not donate in the previous fiscal year.
