The Direct Marketing Response Rate viewport illustrates the number of appeals by response rate ranges. This report only includes appeals with the Direct Mail and Email Appeal Types. It quickly allows you to find your winners and losers to find which pieces worked and which pieces need to be improved or cut.

Click on the bars in the chart to see a detailed list of constituent records that donated to the channel in the selected period.

Key Definitions:

  • Response Rate: This is the percent of solicited records that donated to the appeal. It is calculated by the Platform by dividing Total Donors by Number Solicited. If Number Solicited is not provided by your institution for the appeal or a User does not enter the number into the Platform, the calculation cannot be done and "NA" will be displayed.
