We are pleased to announce that FPM has begun the process of upgrading to the SKY UX user interface. We will share more updates as they become available. 

 

What is it and how does it benefit you?

SKY UX is Blackbaud’s user experience framework, delivering a cohesive, modern experience across Blackbaud cloud solutions. 

How does it benefit you?

SKY UX employs standard components and designs to deliver a secure, consistent user experience, whether you are in FPM, other Blackbaud products, or 3rd party products integrated into the Blackbaud ecosystem.  This makes working across products seamless and intuitiveeasier, so your team can be more productive in less time.  It also allows for more productive workflows and room for additional FPM upgrades in the future.

 

When will you see it in FPM?

FPM will move begin the move  The move to SKY UX on August 23, 2022. We expect that it will take roughly 18 months to complete the entire migrationhas begun, and work will continue through 2023. Report Library (Advancement > Report Library) , in the Advancement layer, will migrate first . To see the new look and feel, on August 23, navigate to the Report Library or if you don't have access, and will be live August 23rd. You can also check out the screenshot below.

Will there be any downtime or outages

We do not anticipate any downtime or outages for clients. If that changes we will notify all clients ahead of the outage. 

 

Will there be changes to the SFTP or the process for sending nightly files to FPM? 

No. There will be no changes to the SFTP or the nightly files. This is a UX (User Experience) change only and the files populating data, as well as the display of data in FPM will not be impacted. 

 

Will there be a need to unblock any new firewalls?

No, we do not anticipate any firewall changes.
