Key Definitions Related to this viewport:

• Designation Purpose: Based on the codes populated in the "Designation Purpose" on the transaction records.
• Cash: Includes gift and pledge payment transactions designated for annual giving. This reflects actual dollars received by during the campaignperiod, and donors who paid their gifts to during the campaignperiod.
• Commitment: Includes gift and pledge transactions designated for annual giving. This reflects dollars generated/committed to during the campaignperiod, and donors who made any commitment to during the campaignperiod, whether or not they have paid itduring the period.
• Pledge: Includes only pledge transactions .
• Primary Relationship Type: The Primary Relationship Type associated with an entity. Some entities may have multiple relationship types (e.g. “Parent” and “Alumna”), but your institution chooses one Primary Relationship Type. Donations that could not be matched to an entity record or where the entity record does not have a relationship type are listed as “No Relationship Type”.
• Total designated for annual giving.
• Dollars: The total legal amount of the transactions. This includes only transactions designated to one of the selected school/unit giving designations, and from entities with one of the Primary Relationship Types selected.Total annual giving transactions.
• Donors: The number of unique entities with a donor qualifying transaction (donor indicator is set to true on the transaction) . This includes only transactions designated to one of the selected school/unit giving designations, and from entities with one of the Primary Relationship Types selected.to annual giving. Some constituents may designate transactions for more than one purpose and would be counted for each purpose. The overall row represents only unique total donors.
